Theme Thursday submission: Sadness

After living through a world war, the oppression of communism, and the fall of the wall that brought so many promises of freedom and prosperity, this woman surely deserves more than a pitch on the subway steps? However, she is certainly not alone in her struggle, and the blatant corruption, clearly evident in her homeland, will probably ensure that it's the best she can hope to look forward to.

Update: 23/7 As a novice photographer, and Photoshopper, it's great to get constructive feedback. I've edited the image after reading btezra's comments. It's the first time I've used the Unsharp Mask tool; I'm amazed at the results it can achieve. The original image I posted, is here.
